Nickelodeon's 'One Crazy Cruise' Delivers Good Ratings

Nickelodeon's summer original movie, 'One Crazy Cruise' starring Nick celebrities, Kira Kosarin, Sydney Park, Rio Mangini, and Benjamin Flores Jr. premiered on Friday, June 19. 
The movie brought in good cable ratings and raised at 0.31 in kids demographic. However, the total amount of viewers was 1.834 breaking out from Nick's current period of very low ratings with the new seasons of '100 Things' and 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn'

Kosarin's hit TV show, 'The Thundermans' gives hopes to bring the ratings up as it is premiering its third season this Saturday at 8/7c.

Disney Channel Unveils Summer 'WHODUNIT?' Weekend

Mystery is in the air during the "Whodunit?" weekend event, FRIDAY, JULY 24 - SUNDAY, JULY 26 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The special programming event includes all-new episodes of "K.C. Undercover," "Liv and Maddie," "Jessie," "Austin & Ally," "Girl Meets World," "Dog With A Blog" and "I Didn't Do It" - all of which rank among TV's Top 10 live-action series year to date across target youth Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 demographics and among the Top 10 live-action kids TV series in Total Viewers - along with upcoming original series "Best Friends Whenever." 'Phineas & Ferb' Finale Ratings Sets Disney XD Record

Summer starts for real on Sunday, but Phineas And Ferb‘s seemingly endless summer wrapped Friday and went out like a lion. Phineas And Ferb ended its 126-episode run with the two-part “Last Day Of Summer,” which drew 1.4 million viewers — the biggest original telecast in Disney XD’s six-year history. The finale of the series created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh closed the cable net’s 73-hourP&F marathon of every episode plus five hourlong specials and telepic Phineas And Ferb: Across The 2nd Dimension. The marathon drew 10.9 million unique viewers, including 6 million kids 2-14.
Next up for the franchise is The O.W.C.A. Files, an hourlong stand-alone focused on Agent P — aka Phineas and Ferb’s pet Perry the Platypus — and his fellow animal agents, which will premiere in the fall.

Disney Channel Announces 'Descendants' and 'BUNK'D' Premiere Date

Disney Channel has set July 31 for back-to-back premieres of its latest film, “Descendants” and “BUNK’D,” its spinoff of the comedy series “Jessie.”

“Descendants” stars Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson as the teen offspring of Disney’s most infamous villain.


The music-driven story about the challenges in living up to parental and peer expectations is directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical”). Wendy Japhet is also an executive producer. Paul Becker is the co-choreographer. The script was written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott who are also co-producers. The cast also includes Kristin Chenoweth, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Maz Jobrani, Kathy Najimy and Mitchell Hope.“Descendants” will premiere at 8 p.m. July 31 on Disney Channel, but verified users of the Watch Disney Channel app and WatchDisneyChannel.com may see it on those platforms starting July 24.


Camp comedy “BUNK’D” will premiere immediately following “Descendants.” The series follows “Jessie” characters Emma (Peyton List), Ravi (Karan Brar) and Zuri Ross (Skai Jackson) as they head to Camp Kikiwaka, a rustic summer camp in Maine where their parents met as teenagers.


“BUNK’D” was created by Pamela Eells O’Connell, who serves as executive producer. It is a production of It’s a Laugh Productions. The series also stars Miranda May, Kevin Quinn, Nina Lu and Nathan Arenas.
